- Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield spoke to Meghan and Harry lookalikes
- One of the four lookalikes admitted he can earn thousands from his role as Harry
- They discussed how their work had been affected by couple’s Oprah interview
This Morning viewers have mercilessly mocked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry lookalikes after they were on the show today and ‘appeared nothing like’ the royal couple.
Presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield spoke to four people who impersonate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex across the UK.
The four lookalikes, who admitted they can earn thousands from their roles, discussed how their work had been negatively affected by the royal couple’s explosive Oprah Winfrey interview.
Their bombshell tell-all saw the Sussexes accuse an unnamed member of the Royal Family of racism, while Meghan claimed she was given such little support by the Palace that she suffered suicidal thoughts.
While some of the impersonators admitted they now had ‘less gigs’ following the interview, viewers suggested their lack of work was because they look nothing like Meghan and Prince Harry.

‘Honestly I think I look more like Meghan Markle than these pair’, one unimpressed viewer wrote on Twitter.
A second tweeted: ‘The woman who told her she looks like Markle needs to go to Specsavers.’
A third joked: ‘When you order Harry and Meghan off Wish,’ while a fourth said: ‘They all need to go to Specsavers because these lookalikes don’t look like Harry and Meghan.’

Another wrote: ‘Lookalilkes? Meghan and Harry? Are you having a laugh? They look nothing like them. I’m creasing.’
Sarah Mhlanga, 38, who lives in North West England, revealed how she first discovered her ‘similarity’ to the Duchess of Sussex after a waitress in IKEA thought she was the former Suits actress.
But she is now considering quitting her job as a lookalike since being trolled following Meghan’s interview with Oprah, as well as experiencing a loss of work.
The actress told Holly and Phil: ‘I would never say it was that lucrative, it’s mainly a hobby and a chance for me to exercise my skills, but after the interview there definitely was less gigs.’
While the lookalikes mostly said their bookings had become infrequent following the tell-all, viewers (above) suggested there might be another reason and insisted the professionals looked nothing like Meghan and Prince Harry
She also noted that she was receiving more negative remarks from trolls following the interview.
‘I started a podcast a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my resemblance to Meghan and the similarities we have,’ she said, ‘and just after I started to get messages saying, ‘She’s just an attention seeker, I hate her, she’s horrible, she’s a menace, we’ve never liked her,’ and that really hurt me.
‘Although we’re different people, I still represent her, I still play her. I’m a mother as well, and I thought it was something horrible to say to a woman.’
Henry Morley, who was dubbed ‘Prince Harry of the North’ after years of guest appearances playing the royal, said he’d earned £2,500 in just a few days from his work.
