A savvy mum has shared an easy trick to hide the annoying wires which are often found around bedside tables.
The mum in question took to TikTok to share a hack, which later went viral, with fans.
In the clip, we see the mum showing off her very busy bedside table with an extension cable sat on the floor and various other plugs and wires running all over the place.

She asked TikTok users: “Does your bedside table look like this?” with a shocked face emoji.
In the video, which has received over 127,000 views, the woman then shows how she removes all the drawers from her bedside table and pulls the extension cable through the back.
She then popped the drawers back into place and you could no longer see the wires and sockets.

There’s no doubt the space looked a lot tidier and organised without the original mess and clutter on show.
In awe of the trick, one person penned: “That’s goals right there,” and another said: “Wow, such a good idea,” and others were quick to tag their friends.
However, some TikTok users feared it could cause a fire hazard, with one writing: “Isn't this a fire hazard? Plug and appliances get hot during charging and use.”

Another added: “Um people…please don't do this, it's a fire hazard.” [sic]
A third commented: “As a property manager, I have seen many fire incidents due to electrical shortages, close contact with flammable materials. This is a fire hazard.”
If you’re looking for another idea, you could place the extension lead next to the bed alongside the drawers so you can’t see them.
Remember though, cords should be unplugged and turned off when not in use.
