Black Friday is coming soon with thousands of deals hitting the market both online and in shops.
This year, the major discount day falls on November 26 and plenty of Brits are looking to bag cheap electronics, toys and clothing ahead of Christmas.
And, to help shoppers out retailer Argos has shared its top tips for picking up the best bargains.
On Black Friday the Argos website has around 62.5million page views with 92% being on mobile phones. So there’s fierce competition to get the top treats.
It makes sense as to why so many shoppers look to Argos with its diverse catalogue and Click & Collect system meaning you can get your goodies by the next day.
So what did they advise shoppers do to make the most of the big day?
Be prepared
Argos noted: “Organisation is key, and there’s lots of quick wins you can do to ensure smooth shopping on the day.”
It recommended researching their products, creating a list before the big day and having back ups in case your favourites run out and adding items to your wishlist so you can quickly grab stuff.
The website also suggests signing up to email alerts and knowing the returns policy.
Create an Argos account
The retailer stated: You’ll need an account to pay for your online order, so get ahead of the game and set it up early.
“From here you can add items to your wishlist, register your Argos card and manage your orders. Just follow these simple steps.”
All you need to sign up is to add your email address, fill in the details and choose a password.

Shopping online
Argos said: “Follow our helpful hints to get your Black Friday deals from the comfort of your own home.”
It suggested starting early, making sure your comfortable, prioritising your list, shopping by category and sticking to your budget.
Argos also reminded shoppers to be patient.
Shopping in store
The online retailer noted: “To keep everyone safe, we’ve made a few changes in store. Here’s a quick heads-up before you go.”
They recommended following social distancing guidelines, wearing a face mask, using hand sanitiser and paying for your order online first.
Argos also has same day home delivery for £3.95 and Sainsbury’s collection points.
If you sign up to the email list you’ll even get sent information about Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
