Trippie Redd Signs $30 Million Record Deal

Trippie Redd says that he has signed a $30 million record deal with 10k Projects, the label behind everything he’s released since his career began. The rapper, who is one of the most prominent members of the SoundCloud rap scene, said the deal covers three albums over the next three years.

Trippie announced the deal on Instagram alongside a photo of the rapper next to a Juice WRLD figure, writing, “Just signed to @elliot for 30million. Now it’s time to start dropping ALLTY5 Songs.”

The Dark Knight Dummo rapper had recently been praised by Lil Uzi Vert for the amount of money he makes while chatting with Twitch streamer Adin Ross. Before announcing his new contract Trippie bragged that he charges between $50,000 and $400,000 just for a show.

“People don’t give him as much credit as he deserves but his numbers definitely show his credit,” Lil Uzi Vert said. “I’ma tell you one thing about Trippie Redd: he deserves more credit. Another thing with Trippie Redd, he gets money. That’s one n-gga that gets money. Trippie Redd comes correct every time and he gets money. I can not respect a n-gga that don’t get money.”

He continued, “And one thing about Trippie Redd is he always comes with a good song too, whether you dislike Trippie Redd or you love Trippie Redd. See, it’s no middle. It’s either you love him or you don’t love him.”

Trippie’s last album, Trip at Knight, was dropped in August and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts. The album had features from some of hip-hops biggest names, including Drake, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, and Lil Durk.

The rapper said back in 2017 that he was worth $7 million, but with his new record deal that is set to increase significantly. Trippie was encouraged to invest in land by Kanye West and has promised to open his wallet for some new real-estate every time he drops an album.

“I got a new goal, every album I drop I’m buying property along with it,” he wrote on Instagram. “I drop Pegasus, I’m dropping half a million, million-dollar bag on some land.”

He’s making good on the promise and has already purchased a $300,000 home for his mother.
