Chef Paris Hilton will soon make her Netflix debut. The reality star revealed on July 12 that she’s bringing her Cooking With Paris series from YouTube to the streaming service in August. Hilton hasn’t made it clear exactly which recipes fans can expect to see on the cooking show, but she has shared some of her favorite dishes in the past. Here’s more on Hilton’s favorite food and Cooking With Paris.
What is Paris Hilton famous for?
Hilton rose to fame for a few different reasons. She started her career as a model in the early 2000’s, and people often recognized her for partying it up in Los Angeles nightclubs. This, combined with a leaked sex tape, made her a popular face in tabloids. She also starred in her own reality show, The Simple Life, alongside her close friend Nicole Richie.
The Hilton Hotels heiress has often been referred to as “famous for being rich,” but she’s also had quite a fair share of career titles. She appeared in various film and television roles, including the horror movie House of Wax, and released her debut album, Paris, in 2006. Since then, Hilton has starred in multiple reality shows and documentaries centered around her life. She began a career as a DJ in 2012 and as a podcast host in 2021.
In addition to her time in the entertainment industry, Hilton has created various product lines over the years, including canine apparel and fragrances. She even once received an offer to become the face of canned beans but turned it down because it didn’t fit her brand.
As one can see, becoming a chef was just one of many ventures that Hilton has added under her belt.
Hilton loves cereal and lasagna
One of Hilton’s favorite foods actually requires no cooking skills to obtain: cereal. In the first episode of Hilton’s new Paris Tries YouTube series, the actor rated various “crazy” cereals from one to five “sliving” stars — that’s “slaying and living” combined, as she previously revealed.
Hilton tried eight kinds of cereal, including Dunkin’ brand caramel macchiato and Honey Maid s’mores. She found that Frosted Flakes with marshmallows was her new favorite cereal, while she strongly disliked Kellogg’s Apple Jacks caramel. Hilton revealed that she likes to eat her cereal with ice and almond milk, but sometimes, she’ll add toppings like bananas.
Of course, Hilton also has some favorite recipes in mind when she cooks. She told Fox News in 2015 that one of her guilty pleasures is cooking lasagna, which fans saw in the debut episode of Cooking With Paris in 2020. In the video, Hilton made her “famous sliving lasagna” with Himalayan salt, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. Some foodies criticized Hilton’s cooking style, but others enjoyed watching her put the recipe together.
‘Cooking With Paris’ will see Hilton making food with friends
Hilton’s fans can watch her whip up more of her favorite foods in Cooking With Paris, which launches on Aug. 4, 2021. According to Variety, the reality star will join forces with several celebrity guests to learn her way around the kitchen and improve her amateur chef skills. Additionally, the actor is slated to release a Cooking With Paris cookbook at some point in the future.
