Where Can I Buy a Dyson Fan Cheapest in 2021? | The Sun UK

SUMMER is hotting up so you might be wondering where you can buy a Dyson fan.

We've looked around the web to see where you might be able to find a deal or two.

  • Shop Dyson's full range of fans here

Dyson outlet store

One of the easiest ways of finding a good deal on a Dyson fan is checking out the Dyson outlet store.

They've got a range of products that are discounted from their RRPs.

Granted, the products are still Dyson, so they're still pretty expensive.

But when we checked out the range in July, we could see restored products selling for around £50 cheaper than their RRPs.

  1. Dyson Pure Cool Tower, £449.99 – buy here
  2. Dyson Pure Cool Desk, £349.99 – buy here
  3. Dyson Pure Cool Me, £249.99 – buy here

Ebay outlet store

Similar to the Dyson outlet store, the Dyson outlet on Ebay offers up discounted Dyson products including air purifiers.

From what we've seen the range is a bit smaller than the outlet on Dyson's website, but it's still worth browsing.

Do Dyson fans cool the air?

Dyson fans don't actively cool the air that they pump out so you're relying on circulation to cool you down.

There is some pretty clever technology behind Dyson's blowers, but they won't reduce the temperature of the air they process.

Is the Dyson Cool an air conditioner?

Dyson Cool devices are not air conditioners, they simply circulate air around a room.

If you want to actively reduce the temperature of the room you're in, check out our round-up of the best air conditioners.

Is the Dyson cooling fan worth it?

There's no doubt that Dyson fans are expensive and can be considered a bit of a luxury item.

In our experience they are very good at what they do; quiet and powerful enough to reach the corners of all but the largest rooms.

But at the end of the day, you're paying for a stylish design and clever bladeless technology more than you are paying for a powerful fan.

Do Dyson Cool fans use a lot of electricity?

As far as we can see, Dyson fans do use slightly more electricity than their competitors.

In terms of wattage, the Dyson AM07 Tower Fan comes in at 56 Watts, which is at the upper end of power consumption you'll find in tower fans.

However, the overall cost of running a fan overnight isn't enormous; we calculated that running a 70 Watt fan overnight could cost as little as 9p.
