Who is Denise Van Outen’s new boyfriend Jimmy Barba from Big Brother to property mogul

Denise Van Outen hasstepped out with a man who appears to be her new boyfriend, months after calling on time on her relationship with Eddie Boxshall.

The 48 year old TV presenter, who recently revealed that she’d been trying out dating apps, attended the 12th annual Grand Prix Ball alongside Jimmy Barba.

Following their public appearance together, Denise posted a series of snaps from the event, some of which included Jimmy with celeb pals including Kimberly Wyatt.

According to reports,Denise and Jimmy first met through All Saints star Shaznay Lewis.

According per Jimmy’s Instagram account, he describes himself as being a “property developer / investor”.

As an entrepreneur, Jimmy owns the property development company Whiteditch Lane Development LTD.

While Jimmy may have only just made his red carpet debut alongside Denise, the businessman is no stranger to being in the public eye.

In 2010, Jimmy appeared on series 11 of a TV show called Grande Fratello, which is the Italian equivalent of Big Brother.

After 183 days in the villa, Jimmy was evicted and finished in 4th place.

Away from his professional life, Jimmy appears to be a fan of Arsenal football club and, as reported byMailOnline, seems to be a father to a young daughter.

Like Jimmy, Denise also has a daughter and shares 12 year old Betsy with Lee Mead.

With appearances on shows including The Masked Singer and Strictly Come Dancing, Denise is known for her singing, dancing and acting abilities – something which she appears to share with Jimmy.

On his social media Jimmy has previously shared snaps of himself singing on stage and often shared snaps of himself working out in the gym.

The news comes afterDenise told Happy Place podcast host Fearne Cotton earlier this month that she was looking for a “man with a job”.

During an episode of the wellbeing podcast, The Big Breakfast host explained that she’d “downloaded a dating app the other day”.

She explained: “I haven’t gone on it. I’m so scared! It would be my first ever [online dating]. I don’t know if it’s for me. It’s so weird.”

She added: “I downloaded it and then I felt really awkward about it and I just thought, ‘I don’t know if I can do this’. I know it is the modern way, but I’m also very old fashioned. Like my morals, my values, the way I approach relationships – it’s so old fashioned.

“That’s also one of the issues that I’ve probably got. My parents have been together forever, so that’s my benchmark. For me, I think it’s all a bit of a Disney fantasy, and the reality is that it’s not like that.”
