The finance journalist and TV personality has become a regular on our screens, revealing his best penny-pinching tips.
Who is Martin Lewis?
Martin was born in Withington, Manchester on May 9, 1972.
He tragically lost his mother in a car accident when he was young, and in later life became a patron of the children's bereavement charity Grief Encounter and an advocate for life insurance.
He studied Government and Law at the London School of Economics, before branching into broadcast journalism at Cardiff University.
After graduating, he landed a job working as a producer for BBC Radio Five Live.
Since then, the finance journalist has appeared on a number of different TV shows as a money expert.
He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2014 Birthday Honours for services to consumer rights and to charitable services, as well as Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting and consumer rights.

What is Martin Lewis' net worth?
Martin has certainly put his money know-how to good use as he is now worth a fortune.
The Sunday Times Rich List estimates he has a net worth of £123M.
Martin set up his successful Moneysavingexpert.com for just a £80 in 2003.
He then sold it to Moneysupermarket.com in an £87m deal in 2012.
What TV shows has Martin Lewis been on?
Since 2012, Martin has co-presented The Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV alongside Loose Women's Saira Khan.
In 2020 Martin announced he was quitting Good Morning Britain after 17 years because he "can't cope" with his busy workload.
He has also regularly featured on It Pays to Watch!, Tonight, Good Morning Britain, Watchdog and Lorraine.
In June 2021, it was revealed Martin would return to GMB to host the show with Susanna Reid.
Is he married and does he have children?
Martin has been married Lara Lewington since 2009.
Lara is a TV presenter, journalist and former weather girl.
She has been a reporter on BBC's Click which covers consumer technology news since 2011.
They welcomed their first child, a daughter called Sapphire Susan Lewis, in November 2012.
