Ariana Madix appeared to slight Meghan McCain by cropping her out of a photo taken at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Friday night.
However, the “Vanderpump Rules” star’s rep tells Page Six exclusively Saturday that it is all a misunderstanding and the elimination of the former “View” co-host was “inadvertent.”
“I can tell you without a doubt that there is no agenda with this post whether political or otherwise,” Madix’s manger adds. “Its just how the post came out.”
Madix, 37, posted the image in question on her Instagram Stories and tagged the other people in the pic, including Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O’Connell and her co-star Lala Kent.
However, when McCain, 38, shared the same image, her post revealed that she was standing just a few feet away from the Bravo star when the picture was taken.
The Daily Mail columnist captioned the image, “When Bravo meets The Beltway! 🇺🇸 💫,” and Madix even “liked” the post — although the two women do not follow each other.
A rep for McCain did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Madix’s rep, meanwhile, also notes that the position of the images may have played a factor in the conservative commentator getting cut.
She notes that her client’s image was uploaded to her Instagram Stories in a vertical format, while McCain’s is posted horizontally.
Madix was invited to the White House following the national attention her ex Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal — dubbed “Scandoval” — garnered.
The former couple were in a relationship for nearly a decade but the Something About Her sandwich shop owner broke things off with the restauranteur in March after she learned he had been having a months-long affair with her former pal Raquel Leviss.
However, since then, Madix has been flooded with new opportunities, including a brand deal with Bloomingdale’s and a role in a Lifetime movie.
The reality star appeared cheerful at Friday night’s event as she posed for photos with CNN commentator S.E. Cupp, who is BFFs with McCain, and “CNN This Morning” host Kaitlan Collins.
McCain, for her part, has been a longtime Bravo fan and even considers “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne a “good friend.”
Earlier this week, her former co-host Sunny Hostin said on “WWHL” that she thinks the mother of two should be hired for a “Housewives” franchise, to which host Andy Cohen agreed, “She’d be a great ‘Housewife.’”
