Why Christine Quinn wont be at the Selling Sunset season five reunion

Christine Quinn won't be featuring in the highly anticipated Selling Sunset reunion episode, which is set to land on Netflix on Saturday 6 May.

The 33 year old real estate agent, who recently hinted that she's planning to leave the hit reality TV show, didn't join her colleagues at the reunion, leaving fans disappointed.

The special episode is hosted by Queer Eye star Tan France, and sees the likes of Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae El Moussa all come together to chat about the show, along with founders of The Oppenheim Group, Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

Christine skipped the reunion however, as she reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus when filming was scheduled to take place on 24 April.

Her fellow co-star Amanza Smith also tested positive for the virus at the same time, but opted to appear at the reunion virtually.

Christine reportedly turned down the offer of taking part virtually, as she wasn't feeling up to it at the time.

The mum-of-one was recently accused of lying about having covid by her co-star Chrishell Stause, who claimed that Christine was avoiding having to meet up with the rest of the Selling Sunset cast.

The comment came after Christine was spotted on a film set with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga, just three days after she allegedly tested positive for the virus. In the US, those with covid must still isolate for five days.

Chrishell took to Twitter to brand Christine a "liar", by sharing a gif that read: “And the lie detector test determined that was a lie.”

Christine is yet to comment on the photos or accusations of lying, with the star remaining silent on the matter so far.

She has clashed with several of her colleagues throughout season five, and recently took to Twitter to call out the series and brand it “fake”, before announcing that she's launched her own company.

Christine tweeted: “30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines!”

The 33 year old has now launched RealOpen.com, a new company that works with "buyers, sellers and agents."

She told how she'd been working on her new venture for "over a year" before adding: "YOU and only you control your storyline. It was a moon shot, and now it's a reality. Crypto is the new global financial system. Why ride the wave, when you can help create it."
