‘Pretty girl privilege is one of the dumbest things to ever exist. Let’s list the privileges – free drinks, probably free entry somewhere, maybe end up in a VIP section, maybe attract like a rich guy, like an athlete or rapper, but those are pretty much the privileges,’ she said.
She went onto to explain that she was ‘concerned’ for whoever believes those are ‘glamorous’ perks, before listing the cons of being an attractive women.
‘Pretty women have a higher chance of getting kidnapped [or] dying. So if you’re a little bit more attractive you might get more eyeballs and increase your chances of getting kidnapped.
‘Pretty girls are never taken serious at their job or anything that has to do with being well educated, by default they think that they’re not capable of understanding.
‘Business? Forget about it. One time I reached out to a doctor so I can help him with his social media and he literally wrote back, “You should come in for an exam, winky face”,’ the owner of social media and business strategist company 7 Figure Creators said.

A blessing and a curse… What exactly IS ‘pretty privilege’?
New York-based psychologist Kristen Roman told DailyMail.com:
‘Pretty privilege refers to the idea that people who are more physically attractive are automatically perceived positively in other ways, referred to as a “halo effect.” This means that physically attractive people might be assumed to be smarter, more competent, and more likeable, and this can be associated with being treated better.
‘There is evidence that this affects advancement in the workplace, including being more likely to get promoted or make more money. Given that our physical appearance is one of the first things people experience when we meet them, it makes sense that it has a strong impact on others’ perception of us, especially early on.
‘There is evidence that a bias towards beauty exists in cultures around the world, not just ours, although each culture’s definition of beauty is different.
‘While research demonstrates that being attractive can be associated with positive outcomes, this doesn’t mean it also doesn’t come with negatives.
‘When we have limited information about someone, it is human nature to make snap judgments about them in order to try to best navigate the situation. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads us to wrongly assume things. It is also a common phenomenon for people to dislike or tear down those who have something they want.’
Shye then detailed how her looks affected her friendships with other, before adding that people often ‘screw’ her over because they know that she will end up ‘looking like the mean one anyways.’
She added that women always ‘envy’ her and don’t like her because she receives more attention than them.
The beauty also noted the unwanted advances from men are creepy, uncomfortable and not a perk.
‘Guys staring and catcalling when you are literally just trying to go grocery shopping, and then they call you a b**** because you don’t want to talk to them,’ she said before noting that pretty women go through ‘trauma’ because of this ‘privilege.’
‘So I don’t know, I’m patiently waiting to understand what is this privilege?’ she said at the end of her video.

Shy explained that the ex-best friend would often make negative comments about her and even try to date her exes
Replying to @chamael30n yup, the math is definitely not mathing….. pretty girl privilege does not exist in my world. 🤷🏽♀️
Speaking to The Post, Shye further explained that being pretty was ‘more of a negative than a positive’ and noted that her attractive looks were a ‘curse.’
She detailed how making genuine friendships is much harder when you are so attractive and even noted that she recently had a falling out with her best friend because her friend was ‘insecure and jealous.’
Shy explained that the ex-best friend would often make negative comments about her and even try to date her exes.
‘People overall treat you much differently and they don’t judge you for your actions, they judge you just from your appearance,’ Shye said.
And, according to Shye, being pretty means drastically changing your lifestyle to avoid unwanted attention.
She explained that she has to think about every picture she posts on social media and has had to switch gyms to avoid members who made her uncomfortable.
