A woman, who was born via sperm donor, uncovered that she has a staggering 65 siblings.

Brenna Siperko, 20, from Maryland, was raised in a small family unit with just her parents and one younger brother, but that all changed after she decided to take a DNA test.

Having always known that she was conceived via a sperm donor, Brenna became curious about her family history and wanted to explore how many half-siblings she had.

In January 2022, she opted to take a DNA test with the expectation that she might have a couple of other siblings out there, according to USA Today.

But it turns out that the test results revealed something beyond what Brenna ever expected, 65 other siblings.

Brenna Siperko discovered that she 65 half-siblings after taking a DNA test, and earlier this year she flew out to visit her half-brother in LA (right)

After taking the test, Brenna discovered that she had 13 other siblings, but after being added to group chats with her newly found family members, the number kept on growing.

Eventually, the figure reached 65 in total.

Brenna was pleased with the findings and quickly developed relationships with her half brothers and sisters.

She told USA today: ‘It was really exciting because I found people with common interests who I could become close to. They’re really easy to talk to.’

Brenna even likened her large family network to a support group where she can reach out for help and advice, or even talk to if she just has something trivial to share.

It turns out that some of her half-siblings also live in the very same state, and they decided to meet up in person.

While Brenna has half-siblings that live close by, others reside in Canada, New York, Texas, Michigan, and Florida.

But the family remained committed to getting to know one another, and in early 2023, Brenna flew to California to meet one of her brothers.

She likened one of her half-sisters, Fabiana, 27, who lives in Baltimore, as the mother of the group, whom people approach for advice or help.

Brenna has also acknowledge the family members similarity in physical looks with shared facial features.

She told USA today: ‘A lot of our eyes are the same… It’s like darker, more almond-shaped eyes.’

‘If you just put side-by-side pictures, you could definitely see the resemblance, kind of in the face shape, the eyebrows, sometimes the nose.’

Brenna has been unable to meet her biological father as he wants to remain unidentified.
