A woman was mortified when she saw her husband having a shot from a menstrual cup.
In a video, Amanda Skyrius shows the sneaky video she recorded behind a wall of the bloke knocking back a shot of what appeared to be amber-coloured whisky.
It wasn't the late-night boozing that Amanda was concerned about but rather his drinking cup of choice.
"That's not a shot glass," she wrote across the video while zooming in the menstrual cup.
"But hey, it ain't stupid if it works," she joked in the caption.
The reusable period product is made from flexible silicone and looks absolutely nothing like a shot glass.
Amanda's video has been watched more than 2.8 million times since she uploaded it on Tuesday (January 11) and people couldn't believe their eyes.
One user told her: "I don’t know what worries me the most that or the fact that’s he’s alone in the kitchen shotting whiskey."
"Extra iron," quipped a second, while another joked: "Aww disinfecting it with alcohol for you."
"We love a multi-purpose 'cup,'" said someone else while another person pointed out: "Well it’s disinfected by the alcohol."
"Omg please tell me you recorded yourself telling him what it is actually used for?" quizzed a fifth viewer.
Meanwhile, others suggested it might be a popular beverage holder for "vampires" who don't mind the contamination with blood.
Bizarrely, this is not the first time a man has unwittingly had a drink out of a menstrual cup with one bloke last year explaining how he had found a "portable shot glass" at home.
He drank a shot out of the period cup and then suggested the "tail" was to help "wring it out" afterward.
