A woman shared the reality behind getting her teeth done overseas.
Jade Pritchard was looking to whiten her teeth and so booked a beauty treatment in Antalya, Turkey, for a set of veneers.
The 30-year-old took to TikTok off her new pearly whites, which she forked out £3,200 for.
While many glamourise getting work done abroad, Jade wanted to show that recovering from procedures isn't easy.
"I can't talk or smile," Jade said while she was in the dental practice, having her teeth shaved to a cone shape.
Then when the British lass had her placeholder gnashers on, she still explained in slurred speech: "Seriously I can't talk, I got the temporary ones. Haha."
She also mentioned that anaesthesia was numbing her muscles around the mouth, hence she couldn't speak or laugh properly until it wore off.
"It didn't hurt until the injections ran out, but I'm getting final ones fitted later," Jade commented.
"I did eight crowns and eight veneers, they should last around eight to 10 years but it comes with a five-year guarantee. I love them so much."
Many viewers said the teeth pegging looked painful and her muscles appeared sore, but Jade said she was high on the medication that she couldn't really feel the pain.

Jade also advised: "Do your research on where you're going, really look into it and just be certain it's something that you really want it done."
She posted a new video a few days later showing off her new teeth – that are a dazzling white shade.
One fan wrote: "Thank you for the update and for sharing your journey. Your teeth look amazing."
But another said: "They're just a bit too white though, no?"
Jade said she had the choice to choose the shape and shade of the veneers and it was her personal preference.
"They fade like normal teeth over years," she added.
