A woman applying for a new job was left mortified when she realised she had made a critical error on the cover page of her CV and the blunder has since gone viral on social media.
In a hilarious video, uploaded on February 2 by TikTok user @marissasid21, she shows herself with her head in her hands as she reels in shock from the embarrassing mistake.
She says: "You think you're having a bad day?
"I just sent this resume without changing the template picture."
Marissa, who is fair-skinned and has long brown hair, then zooms in on the template picture which shows a black, bald man wearing a doctor's coat and stethoscope.
The mortifying story has been watched more than 470,000 times on the video-sharing app, with many people admitting they are cringing on her behalf or sharing humiliating tales of their own.
One person joked she should say: "Sorry, that's an old picture of me."
"It's the fact he is dressed like a doctor and your resume says student teacher that is sending me to MARS," said another amused viewer.
Creasing at the blunder, another person joked she should say her strengths to include "attention to detail".
Someone else with a similar unfortunate experience commented: "I was trying to upload my dog's picture for the daycare website and I accidentally uploaded my weight loss progress pictures instead."
This comes after a "p***ed off" woman said she was told to give up on her dreams of becoming a chef and do cleaning work or else have her benefits frozen.
Meanwhile, a shameless bloke bragged about spending his coronavirus jobseeker's benefits on £350 of beer.
