A woman who offers her services as a "honeypot" claims she is "never trusting a man again" after she was asked to test the loyalty of a woman's husband of nine years.

Honey, who is on TikTok as @honeysplce, shares the message sent by the concerned wife, which reads: "Hello I saw your TikToks and I was wondering if you can test my husband?

"We have been together for nine years. Recently he's been really sneaky and staying at work late so I'm suspicious of him."

Honey agreed to help and asked for some extra details, such as where they lived and the husband's Instagram handle.

She then sends him a message over Instagram saying: "Hey what's up? You're cute haha."

He replies with a cautious: "May I ask who this might be?"

When Honey claims she just stumbled across his profile, he tells her he "has a family" but thanks her for the compliment.

It seems he will pass the test after the lukewarm response, but he later sends another message: "You are very beautiful. I can't help but look at your page."

Another message reads: "I would never cheat on my wife. But a young girl like you makes me want to."

He then asks her to meet up for coffee and claims his wife is having a nap and "doesn't mind me having friends".

Honey doesn't actually meet with him and, in a follow-up video, claims the wife has forgiven her husband and points the blame at the honeypot for "taking it too far".

The video was watched more than 3.9 million times and people in the comments were disappointed with the outcome of the loyalty test.

One user said: "He was strong for literally three seconds and folded like a chair."

"The way he texts you is actually giving grooming vibes," commented a second viewer.

Someone else said: "Nine years down the drain, a whole family… this just scares me to ever get married."

A fourth wrote: "You wasn't even baiting him. He volunteered the tomfoolery."
