Adele sits down for tell all interview with Oprah Winfrey ahead of album launch

Adele stunned in an all white suit as she appeared in a trailer for an interview with US talk show legend Oprah Winfrey.

The honest sit down with Oprah will be her first televised interview since the 33-year-old superstar announced her comeback.

The two-hour special is due to be aired days before the singer's fourth album, 30.

The set for the special titled Adele: One Night Only looks familiar to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's explosive tell all with Oprah back in March.

Adele is heard telling Oprah, 67, in the teaser: “It will look really elegant, and then I’ll tell a load of filthy jokes and stand-up, so it’ll be real whiplash.”

Oprah also tells viewers: “Nobody is more compelling with the truth than Adele.”

Recently, Adele broke down crying due to nerves during ITV's An Audience With Adele at the London Palladium.

She told stars and fans in the audience: "I'm so nervous. I’m s***ting it! I’m so nervous!”

The a-list event heard Adele perform four brand new unheard songs from her new album, and all mobile phones were confiscated before the event to avoid any of the new songs being leaked.

The event was recorded and will be aired on ITV on November 21.

It was the Tottenham-born singer's first visit to the UK in two years and she was accompanied by her sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul, 39.

She has also been spotted with a new ring on her left hand amid rumours that the couple may already be engaged.

Among the star-studded guests were Dua Lipa, Idris Elba, Michael McIntyre, Naomi Campbell, Gareth Southgate and her good friend Alan Carr.

At one point the comedian Carr joined Adele on stage and entertained the crowd with a rendition of the singer's Make You Feel My Love track as she had her make-up reapplied.

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was also in attendance and wrote on Instagram afterwards: "Wow wow and wow … @adele you were beyond sensational tonight – funny, moving & that VOICE!!!

"So thrilled to be in the audience (and what an audience – you’ll see it on @itv soon) to hear songs from the utterly brilliant new album #adele30 & of course her legendary classics."
