Ashley Cain has revealed that his beloved nan has sadly passed away.
The MTV star, who previously appeared on Ex on the Beach, logged into Instagram on Sunday to share the heartbreaking news with his social media followers.
He paid tribute to his "strong" grandmother, saying that she will be "happy" to be reunite with his late daughter Azaylia.
Eight-month-old Azaylia tragically died in April this year after battle with a rare form of leukaemia.
Sharing a photo of his nan with his daughter, the 30-year-old reality star wrote: "While I was away I got the devastating news that my Grandma had sadly passed away and joined the angels in paradise.
"Grandma Cain you created a great, strong, successful and respectful family from nothing but hard work, tough love and good blood.
"You will be missed forever by us all. Please now look after my little angel in heaven as I know she will be excited to see you again!"
Ashley's post was unsurprisingly inundated with message of support from friends and fans.
One fan penned: "Sorry for your loss, two beautiful angels smiling down on your great accomplishments for Azaylia Foundation."
Another added: "I’m sorry for your loss but I’m sure you're finding some comfort that your grandma is finding her way to your little girl."
A third person posted: "Sorry for you loss. I hope this brings you some comfort knowing that your Grandma will be looking after your princess."
Baby Azaylia died in April 24 2021 after fighting acute myeloid leukaemia for most of her life.
She spent her final weeks at home with her dad and mum Safiyyaa Vorajee, filling her life with as much love and joy as they could.
Azaylia's story attracted global attention with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson getting in touch with the family.\
Landmarks around the world, including Blackpool Tower and Niagara Falls, were lit orange in her honour and she was nominated for a Pride Of Britain Award.
Ashley and Safiyya raised more than £1.5million to fund a trip to Singapore for a life-saving transplant for Azaylia and encouraged more than 100,000 people to join the stem cell register.
Their daughter was too ill to have the treatment, and they have since set up the Azaylia Foundation to support families that are fundraising for treatments that may not be readily available on the NHS.
Ashley shot to fame on MTV's Ex on the Beach and competed on the 33rd season of the reality game show The Challenge.
He has also modelled for brands such as Kalibre Clothing and The Couture Club.
