BGT child stars Bars and Melody unrecognisable as they rap about ‘getting a**’

Britain's Got Talent stars Bars and Melody look totally different from their ITV stint nowadays.

The musical duo first shot to fame in 2014 when they appeared on the ITV talent contest.

This week they posted their new track on their Instagram with the pair sharing multiple clips of the singing their new song.

Even their lyrics have turned up a notch as they rapped rude bars online, which is a move from their anti-bullying rap on BGT.

In one clip they could be seen rapping: "No more covid stopping me getting that a**, no more joking no more taking that back, coast to coast I can get it on tap."

Nowadays, the musical duo are now all grown up and in their 20s.

Charlie Lenehan – known as Melody – is now covered in tattoos, with etchings wrapped around his neck, arms and chest.

Whereas, Leondre Devries – AKA Bars – who used to be much shorter than his co-star, has also shot up and caught up with Charlie, who used to tower over him on stage.

Fans of theirs flooded the comment section to support the pair.

With one writing: "You guys own my heart."

A second added: "Loving the new single @barsandmelody."

While a third penned: "@barsandmelody I love all your music."

"My favourite part in the song," a fourth penned.

A fifth put: "Love the song!!! It’s another killer song!!! The video is absolutely incredible, I love how you filmed it yourself!!!

Love Heart!!! One of my new favourite songs!!!!!!"

Back in 2014, the lads were boosted into the semi-finals of BGT when head judge Simon Cowell gave them his Golden Buzzer.

The aspiring stars made it all the way to the final, however, eventually lost out on the grand title to Collabro.

Simon's Syco Music label signed them up on a £500,000 deal and released their debut album, called 143, the following year.

The boys have sporadically toured Europe and Japan and even appeared on America's Got Talent: The Champions.
