Britney Spears has claimed that large amounts of blood were taken from her every week during her time in a psychiatric ward.
She has also said that she was not given any privacy while trying to wash herself in the shower and was made to sit on a chair for 10 hours a day.
Spears posted a 22 minute-long video to YouTube, which has since been made private, and spoke openly about her time at what is believed to be the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre.

The pop star recalled her experience and said that she “wanted to scream”, said that her “heart felt frozen” and she was made to sit in chairs for long periods of time.
Spears recalled a distinct lack of privacy whilst on the ward and said that she couldn’t smoke cigarettes, which “people on death row” can do.
Brit also claimed that during her time on the ward, which she said “made her stop believing in God”, she had "six galls" of blood taken every week.
It is unclear exactly what Britney is talking about during that claim as there are roughly 1.2 to 1.5 gallons of blood in the human body.
The video shared new information about her 15-year conservatorship which ended in November 2021.
The singer alleged that her forced hospitalisation back in 2008 was premeditated in an attempt to take control of her fortune and said that she didn’t have drugs or alcohol in her system at the time.
Britney said: “A woman introduced the idea to my dad and my mum helped him follow through and made it all happen. It was all set up. There were no drugs or alcohol in my system. Pure abuse.”
Spears said that she “hasn’t even shared the half of what happened”, but the “main thing she remembers” is her “dad’s control” as he “loved to control everything she did”.
In a heartbreaking statement, Britney said that she “couldn’t go where she wanted to go” and “couldn’t have cash”, which she branded “demoralising”.
She said that the “last thing they wanted” was for her to “actually be better”, because then “who would be in control”.
