Calvin Harris seriously A-list dating history as he gets engaged to Vick Hope

Calvin Harris is engaged to Vick Hope after only dating for five months.

Calvin secretly popped the question weeks before Vick was spotted wearing a dazzling rock on her ring finger at the Chelsea Flower Show.

A source told The Sun that Harris proposed to Hope a few weeks ago in Ibiza.

The Scottish DJ has had a whirlwind romance with TV presenter Vick Hope, but prior to their relationship he also dated a whole host of A-listers.

His past romances haven’t been smooth sailing either, and the DJ has been known to have a few messy breakups.

Here’s everything we know about Calvin Harris’ star-studded dating history.

Ellie Goulding

In 2013 Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding sparked dating rumours after the pair shared a kiss during the music video for Ellie’s I Need Your Love.

But Ellie shut the rumours down, claiming that she and Calvin were just good friends.

She told Metro: "We knew in that video we would just giggle and laugh the whole way through. Me and Calvin are really good friends."

Rita Ora

Just two months after the rumours that Harris was dating Ellie, he began dating her close friend Rita Ora in April 2013.

Rita and Calvin dated for a year and seemed blissfully happy together. But in June 2014 they suddenly split.

Calvin confirmed their breakup on Twitter, saying: "To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”

However, it was reported that Calvin’s public tweet was the first time Ora had heard the news of their breakup.

The Sun reported that Calvin ended the relationship because Rita was being vague about her whereabouts.

A source claimed that Calvin had been furious after he happened to use the same driver as her while in LA.

"It all ended when the driver suggested to Calvin that he had taken Rita to a hotel two days earlier instead of driving her to stay with him."

The breakup quickly turned nasty, and in 2015 Calvin even banned Ora from using any of the material he had collaborated with her on.

Taylor Swift

In 2015 Calvin moved on from Rita Ora to perhaps his most famous relationship with Taylor Swift.

Calvin started dating Taylor after meeting the singer at the BRIT Awards.

Two months after they met, the pair confirmed their relationship on Instagram and they ended up dating for 15 months.

Speaking about the relationship to Vogue in 2016, Taylor said: “I'm in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key.”

But just two months later, the pair very publicly split, leaving fans wondering why the romance ended.

Calvin addressed their breakup as he tweeted: “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect” – which Swift then retweeted.

But a few weeks after their split was confirmed, Taylor was photographed kissing and holding hands with Tom Hiddleston, sparking rumours that her relationship with Harris ended because of a romance with the Thor actor.

Aarika Wolf

Calvin Harris first met model Aarika Wolf in 2014, when she starred in the music video for his single Blame.

The pair dated for seven months but in 2015 Calvin broke up with Aarika and started dating Taylor Swift.

However, Swift and Harris split in 2016 and the DJ reunited with his model ex-girlfriend in August 2017, until they split again just a few months later.

In March 2018 it was revealed that the pair were back together and Aarika even moved into Calvin’s Hollywood home.

The pair dated on and off until their recent split, which was confirmed in March this year.

A source told The Sun that the pair split due to a strain on their relationship because of Calvin’s regular trips away.

“Calvin wanted to spend more time away from the US, including on his farm in Ibiza, but Aarika is based in the States.”
