Danniella Westbrook fans have been left concerned after the former EastEnders actress revealed that she is 'bed bound' from a blood infection.
The actress and mum of two, 46, who played Sam Mitchell in the BBC soap, shared the news on her Twitter account, saying that she was too ill to leave the house after developing the infection.
The post read: "Another beautiful day missed in bed sick with this blood infection."
Fans took to social media to share their concerns and to send their best wishes to the star, with one saying: "Feel better soon hun sending hugs xxx"
A second commented: "I'm sorry to hear you are not well I hope you are feeling much better very soon, sending all my best wishes to you."
Former EastEnders actor John Patridge, who played Christina Clarke in the soap, also said: "Oh honey…feel better x"
Danniella Westbrook recently underwent facial reconstructive surgery, and it is reported that she needs five operations in total to correct her 'collapsing' face, due to a previous drug addiction and osteoporosis.
The actress has previously said that she needs the surgery to "survive" and that it isn’t for "vanity" but purely for health reasons after her septum had collapsed.
She was previously rushed to intensive care just before Christmas after a cold left her unable to breathe as a result of built up fluid, and after speaking to doctors at Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, she was offered the facial reconstructive surgery.
Before her most recent social media post, the actress had recently wowed fans on social media, after showing off glam snaps where she was wearing a black dress and Burberry scarf, in a nod to her love of the brand.
In a now-infamous snap from over 20 years ago, she was dressed head-to-toe in Burberry, while her daughter Jodie was being pushed around in a Burberry pram, while also wearing the same skirt as her mum.
