Dua Lipa Wears Three Stunning Looks in the “We’re Good” Music Video

From collaborating with Miley Cyrus on “Prisoner” to performing her virtual concert, Studio 2054, Dua Lipa has been keeping us entertained throughout the pandemic. And now, the inimitable pop star has released a new single called “We’re Good.”

Featured on the special Moonlight Edition of Future Nostalgia, “We’re Good” is one of three new tracks that appear on the re-release. “That Kind of Woman” and “If It Ain’t Me” round out the new version of Future Nostalgia, along with Lipa’s recent collaborations: “Prisoner” with Miley Cyrus, “Not My Problem” with JID, and “Un Día” with J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy.

In the music video for “We’re Good,” Dua Lipa wears three glamorous outfits as she performs on a cruise ship. The camera tracks between the performer and a group of lobsters in a tank, which gradually get plucked from the water and get cooked for guests.

Lipa opened up about the pressures of fame during an interview with The Guardian in 2020. “People almost made me feel bad about my achievements, or didn’t allow me to feel proud of the things that I’ve done because they made me feel like I was almost unworthy of them,” she explained. “Even though I know I’ve worked really hard and I did so much of the work, the performances and behind the scenes.”

She continued, “The scrutiny not just on social media but in the media, especially towards women, is so intense and unkind and really trying to get a rise out of people … The tabloids know very well what they’re doing, and it really affects everyone. You have to be made out of steel to not let words get to you.”
