Dua Lipa is one of music’s biggest pop stars right now, so it was inevitable that she was going to be nominated at the 2021 Grammy Awards and make an impact in some way. Two years after winning her first set of trophies, Lipa earned herself nominations in six categories: Best Album and Best Pop Vocal Album for her hugely-popular second LP, Future Nostalgia; Best Song, Best Record, and Best Solo Pop Performance for “Don’t Start Now”; and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Un Dia (One Day).”

Ahead of the ceremony, Lipa posed on the red carpet and dazzled in a jeweled gown designed by Versace. The floor-length gown featured a butterfly-motif bodice and a thigh-high slit. She teamed the ensemble with metallic heels and accessorized herself with rings while showcasing the tattoos down her arms. Lipa styled her long, straight dark hair down with a middle part and was clearly glowing in the eye-catching number. According to Cosmopolitan, her attire was reminiscent of Cher’s look from when she attended the same award show in 1974.

So what do fans have to say about the look? We reveal some of the reactions below.

Dua Lipa sent fans into a mini frenzy

Dua Lipa has built herself up a loyal following over the past years. As soon as her red carpet snaps hit the web, her fans went wild. Quite literally!

“Dua you look stunning! My favorite Grammy’s look from you ever! The best dressed of the night!” one user tweeted. “@DUALIPA not only sounds like a goddess but she is a goddess period. She is looking STUNNING for the #2021Grammys,” another shared. “dua lipa is absolutely unreal, i do not understand how someone that perfect exists i just can’t comprehend it. Have y’all SEEN HER!!???” remarked a third account.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Lipa has been unable to tour Future Nostalgia when it was first released. However, during her red carpet interview, she revealed there was a silver lining to the situation. “Because I was at home and not touring or doing all this work that I really got to take it all in and really feel the response from everyone around and really hear [what people] thought of the record,” per People.
