Reality star Gemma Collins astonished fans with the revelation she is making a staggering £18k per day after scoring a string of lucrative money-making opportunities.

The gobby grafter, 41, who found fame on The Only Way is Essex, recently signed a £1million deal with high street giants New Look to become the face of a new line of clobber, and is also fronting a campaign for Walkers crisps – worth another £1million.

Other high-paying gigs include ads for airline Wizz Air, fast food giant Burger King, condom-maker Durex and clothing brand Boohoo, plus cash from her own clothing brand has earned her another £500,000 in 2022.

The eye-watering total works out at a whopping £18,248-a-day.

An industry source revealed: “Gemma is hot property and firms are falling over themselves to sign her up.

“At the rate she’s going she could be worth another couple of million quid by the end of the year.”

Another insider revealed that the GC can charge up to £50k for just one day's work.

They told The Sun: “Gemma is big business and when New Look approached her for a collaboration, they were willing to pay big money."

She'll be New Look's main celebrity ambassador and will also launch her own clothing collection in stores nationwide – with a contract slated to "go on for a long time".

Gemma Collins recently quit her BBC radio gig after being offered a lucrative deal by a rival broadcaster, according to reports.

The Gemma Collins Podcast has proved a hit for the BBC since it first launched back in 2019 and even spawned dating advice spin-off The Love Lounge.

Now the star is said to have signed a commercial deal for five times the salary she received at the BBC.

As well as more money, the self-confessed diva is believed to have been offered more editorial control over her content which Collins has openly said in the past has been a bone of contention for her at the BBC.

A source told The Sun at the time that she is now getting paid a figure "the BBC just couldn't afford", as well as scooping more control over the content she discusses.
