Gino D’Acampo has took to Twitter to reveal he kisses his nine-year-old daughter on the lips and send a message to anyone who has a problem with that to "get over it and get a life".
The TV chef, 45, shared a couple of sweet snaps of him alongside Mia – including one which shows him giving her a peck on the lips.
And Gino defiantly told those who might disapprove of his show of affection: "To all the haters out there… yes I still kiss my principessa on the lips, get over it and get a life [sunglasses emoji]… GDx"
And many of Gino's fan's rallied round him and showed their support.
One commented: "FFS! Of course a parent can kiss their child on the lips! What is wrong with this?"
While another added: "Anyone who has an issue with a parent kissing their child has really major issues themselves."
A third added: "It’s the people that have an issue with this that we need to worry about. Worlds full of absolute creeps man."
Gino is following in the footsteps of former England footie star David Beckham.
The Man United legend received harsh backlash from fans last year after posting similar pictures of him kissing his daughter Harper, 10, with some social media users insisting kissing kids on the lips is "wrong".
"She is a big girl now time for you to stop kissing her on the lips. Bad to kiss your daughter," one fan wrote to the star.
"Sorry, but isn't she a bit big now to be getting kissed on the lips? Feels slightly wrong," another echoed.
But David made it clear he had brushed off their digs when he took to Instagram in January to share yet another image of himself and Harper kissing each other on the lips.
One of Gino's followers also told how the TV chef and David's posts had inspired her husband to share similar sweet father-daughter moments.
They said: "Funny enough my husband wouldn’t kiss our two on the cheek or lips, but seeing pictures of you and Beckham do it he’s thought f**k it x."
