Harry Styles Pauses Colombia Show After Eight Crushed Fans Cant Breathe and Almost Die

Concertgoers who are crushed against stage barriers at the Coliseo Live stadium can be heard desperately screaming, ‘We can’t breathe, we are suffocating!’ in footage capturing the terrifying incident.

AceShowbizHarry Styles is putting fans’ safety first. The “As It Was” hitmaker was forced to pause his “Love on Tour” show in Bogota, Colombia after eight fans became crushed against stage barriers.

Footage circulating online saw the former One Direction singer asking concertgoers at the Coliseo Live Stadium on Sunday, November 27 concert to move back slowly to stop fans from being crushed against the handrails. “I am very excited to be here, and I know today is going to be an amazing show,” he told the crowd, “But the most important thing is that everyone in here is safe, because there are a lot of people in here and it’s warm.”

“All we’re going to do is everyone on the floor, really, really slowly, starting from the back..you’re going to take a couple of steps back,” newly-single Harry continued, before stressing to the crowd that they had to move “really slowly. Really, really slowly.”

Fans in the front row could be heard shouting at Harry, “We can’t breathe. We are suffocating.” A fan, who attended the concert and posted the video on Twitter, said, “I just have to say that I was in the Platinum section and I almost died. And this was when this poor man had to stop the concert because we were suffocating.”

Some fans had queued for more than six hours to ensure they had a good spot for the music event. It’s reported that the gig, which was initially intended for the show to take place at the Salitre Magico amusement park, saw concertgoers queuing from 3 P.M.

Things happened a lot during Harry’s world tour. During the “Love on Tour” stop in Los Angeles, Harry, who’s often an easy target for fans to throw objects while on stage, was hit with a skittle in his eye.

As the candy appeared to hit him hard, he immediately bent down and clutched his eye, seemingly out of pain. The 28-year-old crooner quickly bounced back, however, bowing and blowing kisses while he thanked the audience before performing the set’s final song, “Kiwi”.

In a video shared on social media, Harry was later seen driving himself out of the venue in a black Range Rover while rubbing his eye. Following the show, Harry tuned into his percussionist Pauli Lovejoy’s Instagram Live session and commented, “See you tomorrow AVEC eye patch.” Avec translates to “with” in French.

That wasn’t the first time fans threw things at him onstage. Previously, a fan at his Chicago show threw what appeared to be a bottle at the “Don’t Worry Darling” actor, hitting him right in the very sensitive area. In the footage capturing the incident, he immediately showed signs of pain and discomfort. “Now that’s unfortunate,” he said while bending over his body.

Later, Harry was seen shaking both of his legs. “Okay, shake it off,” he told the audience, who later erupted in cheer as he was referring to his former fling Taylor Swift‘s song “Shake It Off”. He also jumped up and down, seemingly trying to rid any pain away.

In August, fans at his “Love on Tour” stop in New Yok City turned him into a chicken nugget target, tossing food at him on stage. Upon retrieving the nugget, he rhetorically asked, “Is that a chicken nugget?”
