Love Island's Toby Aromolaran didn't win the ITV2 dating show competition but he did win the hearts of the nation and Chloe Burrow's too.
The pair came second on the show after being pipped to the post by Millie Court and Liam Reardon who stole the series seven crowns – becoming the new king and queen of the villa.
Before heading into the Majorca villa, Toby, 20, was a footballer and played for social media team Hashtag United.
Now, he's out and roaming free once more, the Daily Star thought it was a good time to check up on his team and see if he has any plans to come back to the playing field anytime soon.
Neil Smythe, Operations Director at Hashtag United said: "We’re so proud of our guy, and glad the viewers got to see the Toby we know; he is a lovely, funny guy as well as having talent on the pitch.
When asked if he had heard from him since he just got his phone back, Neil said that he had popped up in the team's group chat to let them know he's all okay.
He added: "Most of the lads were training on Monday when the final was on but after the result, the WhatsApp group chat was buzzing…and he has already dropped back in there to catch up with us which was a nice surprise. Everyone was happy to hear from him but he isn’t getting off lightly from the boys for missing pre-season for his holiday!"
But when will Toby be coming back if at all? Neil explained that they don't have a date set in stone yet but are hoping for him to make a return at some point, but urge him to put his career first.
Neil said: "As for when we’ll see him back, we’re not sure yet. We definitely want him back, and he’s said he wants to return, but he’ll have to get match fit first!
"The reality is we know he’ll have so many opportunities now and his career comes first, but if he’s able to juggling training and playing around what’s going to be a whirlwind of a life for him in the next few months, he’ll be welcomed with open arms…as long as he has brought a Love Island water bottle back for Devs the manager. So will Chloe, to be honest."
The Hashtag member also went on to say that Toby's now-girlfriend Chloe will also be welcomed to watch her lad slide down the pitch and will have a regularly saved seat just for her.
Neil concluded: "Unfortunately, we can’t promise her a place in our women’s team, but we’ve already got her season ticket and shirt sorted so we hope to meet her at a game soon!"
