Holly Willoughby posts cryptic quote to fans about ‘letting go’ of ‘negativity’

Holly Willoughby has shared a cryptic quote about "letting go" of "negativity" while on a break from filming This Morning.

The 40-year-old has written her first book, which is said to address everything from body image to burning out.

Now the mum-of-three has given her fans a glimpse inside the personal book, sharing the key to finding “true beauty”, starting by letting go of negative emotions with a quote.

Holly shared a quote on Instagram that read: "Letting go of the judgement and the negativity makes space for love and kindness and a passion for everything around you and what you do.

"That is true beauty and that is what shines out into the world brighter than anything else.”

The This Morning host described the process of writing the book, which is called Reflections, as “intense” and said that the book would be immensely personal, adding there are “pieces of her between the pages”.

The book will include both photos of Holly and illustrations.

Speaking about the project when it was first announced, Holly said: “I’m so excited to publish this book with Zennor and the team at Century. Reflections is a celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony, which hasn’t always come easily to me.

“I hope this starts a discussion and helps readers reflect on their own paths and on where they find themselves now.”

She went on: “Writing this book has been an intense experience; there are pieces of me between the pages. It’s a one-off collection of personal essays, internal thoughts and stories.

"The time felt right to share this with you now and as our path goes on and we continue to walk along it, I can’t wait to hold your hand and walk together.”

Holly added that she used her own experiences to look at “why we might simultaneously feel frantically busy and completely detached, the importance of listening to intuition and what it means to see yourself”.

The book will also reportedly set out to explore “what it means to live a beautiful life in the modern world”.

Reflections will be published on 29th October 2021.
