She wrote: "Hi, how’re you feeling today?

"So sorry I’m a day late with this newsletter, but I went to Glastonbury for the first time in years and made the most of every minute. What a weekend! Did you go? Or did you see any of it from the comfort of your own sofa to avoid having to share a loo with 200,000 other people?!"

Holly continued: "Just what is it about going to a festival that makes you feel about 20 again? There’s something so freeing about it…as if you’ve entered a world that encourages you to leave life’s worries and responsibilities at the gate and let your hair down.

"I spent three amazing days with incredible friends, listening to some of the best musicians on the planet – all whilst dancing like lunatics. Music brings people together like nothing else. I cannot begin to imagine how it must feel as an artist looking out at a Glastonbury crowd to see the faces of each and every person singing your lyrics. Never was this more poignant than the crowd singing back to Lewis Capaldi on Saturday, which was probably one of the most touching moments of the weekend."

The host added: "Thanks to the amazing weather, Glastonbury also gave great moon…beginning the weekend as a sliver of a moon that built to almost a half-moon by the end. I kept looking up at the night sky during the headline acts to see Mama Moon in all her glory, presiding over all of us. It’s so rare in the UK to have clear skies on consecutive evenings to watch her move through her phases. What a treat. This week brings us the Waxing Gibbous Moon, the lunar phase of reflection. I should think I’ll be doing a lot of reflecting and reminiscing this week given all the memories we’ve just made.

"When I think back, the feeling of being part of the crowd who witnessed Elton John perform his farewell show, is so humbling. ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call it the Blues’ is such a special song for Dan and I and I’m filled with nostalgic warmth when I remember all the moments we’ve listened to it together. Pure magic."

Holly finished the note by saying: "Ok, I’ll stop with the Glastonbury gushing now…it’s time to get on to the important part!"
