Holly Willoughby has again shown the world how happy she is to be hosting This Morning alongside Dermot O’Leary in a message that some claim is another snub to her former pal Phillip Schofield.

The presenter has shared a selfie of her and Dermot, with the pair both beaming for the camera.

She then announced she was enjoying a glass of wine – and that came just weeks after Phillip’s own brand of wine was axed following his dramatic fall from grace.

Alongside the snap of the bottle of wine from James Martin’s collection, the 42-year-old wrote: “Testing this out for our rosé demo tomorrow. Purely for research purposes. Thanks James Martin, it’s delicious.”

Phillip’s own wine deal was axed after he left This Morning in disgrace when news of his affair with a young runner on the show leaked out.

He had teamed up with When In Rome back in 2020 to launch a pair of boxed wines, but When In Rome has now removed the Schofield vino from its website in light of the scandal swirling around the 61-year-old TV star.

He was forced to quit the hit ITV show after he admitted having an affair with a young runner on the programme and then lying about it to his co-stars and bosses.

Phillip subsequently admitted that he was “broken and ashamed” – but the fallout shows no sign of going away anytime soon, with fellow TV stars including former This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes and Alison Hammond being dragged into the subsequent war of words.

After Phillip quit, ITV said there would be a number of hosts who would sit on the sofa alongside Holly, but her latest posts suggest that Dermot is among her favourites.

And some fans reckon that news that Dermot will be co-hosting for the next two weeks puts him in pole position to land the gig permanently.
