Earning his holiday, Adam is EastEnders' longest-surviving cast member – having been a regular on Albert Square since the show started in 1985.
The actor has also had some tough personal experiences such as divorcing his wife Beverley Sharp last year – his wife of 22 years.

Adam told Zoe Ball's Radio 2 show: "I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that,"
He continued: "I am loving my break, I’m having a ball."
"I’m getting ready for the tour which was supposed to have started in January, then it was supposed to start in April and then it was supposed to start in June – it keeps getting knocked back, but basically I’m in a motorhome."
