Inside Love Island Jack Fincham’s rocky love life from show winner to baby news

Love Island champion Jack Fincham turns another year older today.

The former stationary salesman, now 30, found fame on the fourth series of the ITV2 dating show back in 2018.

He went on to win the show with then-girlfriend Dani Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer.

However, the winning couple split after a whirlwind romance.

Jack, who is training to become a pro boxer, has remained in the headlines since his appearance on Love Island and has even tried his luck on Celebs Go Dating.

However, the Essex hunk still appears to be on the market and Daily Star has taken a look into the birthday boy's love life to mark the special occasion.

Dani Dyer split

Jack and Dani Dyer spread their wings and went their separate ways back in April 2019 just nine months after they were crowned winners of Love Island series four.

After filming their own reality show together, the pair decided to split.

After week of speculation, Jack confirmed the break-up by posting to Instagram that they "really tried to make it work."

At the time, Jack penned to his fans: "We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness."

We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but something things aren’t meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it unfortunately didn’t and that is life."

He later went on to admit that they "rushed it" and if they’d be on Love Island forever "it would have been alright".

Dani, 24, has since rekindled her relationship with ex Sammy Kimmence and the pair welcomed a baby boy, Santiago, earlier this year.

Baby announcement

Essex-born Jack stunned fans with a surprise Instagram post announcing the birth of his daughter, Blossom.

He penned in the social media post at the time: "I want to thank my family and friends for your continued support, also to my little girl’s mother, who has been totally AMAZING throughout.

"Although we are not together we are great friends as we have been for many years and our priority is co-parenting our beautiful baby girl. Both mum and baby are doing great.

"I am now a proud dad to a healthy baby girl Blossom Fincham born 8lb 2oz on 24th January 2020."

Blossom's mum is health compliance officer Casey Ranger, who briefly dated Jack but are now just friends.

Engagement rumour

Love Island fans were sent into meltdown in August 2020 after Jack set lounges wagging after a photo seemed to suggest he'd popped the question.

He wowed his millions of fans when he uploaded a snap of himself posing alongside a mystery woman – who appeared to be wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

However, the reality star admitted the photo only appeared this way due to some unintentional camera trickery resulting in the image being mirrored.

When quizzed by TOWIE's Liam Gatsby what was going on in the photo, the Love Island series four winner champion joked he had "taken the plunge".

But as Gatsby offered his congratulations to the couple, Jack said: "Bro it’s the other camera, no engagement here," followed by a string of crying-laughter emojis.

The woman in the snap was identified by the Sun newspaper to be Connie O’Hara, who has previously chosen to stay out of the spotlight.

Jack has since removed all his photos featuring Connie's Instagram account.

Celebs Go Dating 'disaster'

Jack was branded "brash" and rude" by viewer during his stint on Celebs Go Dating in 2019.

He told Closer that it was a "shame" he didn't always come across well on the E4 dating show.

Speaking to the publication, she said: "If I wasn’t getting on with someone, I wasn’t going to waste my time.

"I just didn’t meet anyone I liked and no-one looks good on a bad date.

"99 per cent of the time I was joking, but people didn’t get it. People always have an opinion of you."

In one episode, Jack was described as a "waste of time by one of the girls he dated, who scored him a one out of 10.

Dating expert Anna Williamson later declared "It’s the worst score we’ve ever had for a guy on Celebs Go Dating."

The Essex lad tried his luck on Celebs Go Dating just months after his split from Dani.

Marriage vow

Jack jokingly vowed to marry his Love Island co-star Laura Anderson while filming the reunion series for the ITV2 dating show last year.

The pair enjoyed a garden catch-up with Dr Alex George as part of Love Island: What Happened Next? last summer.

"Laura keeps flirting with me, she keeps flirting with me. She asked me on a date once," Jack joked.

The stunning Scot, 31, couldn’t help but giggle and denied that she had been flirting with Jack, saying: "That’s not true, that is totally not true."

Jack even promised to marry Laura if she was single when she turned 40 – and now a union is looking more likely than ever.

The pair haven’t ruled out a romance with both agreeing to get hitched together if they were both single by the time they were 40.

Jack replied: “My mum loves her; me and Laura are such good friends. I love her to death. I talk to her at least a couple of times a week.

“I tell you what I do Laura, let’s make a pact. If we’re both not married by the time we’re 40 then we’ll get married.”

Dr Alex even admitted how his former Love Island co-stars would "would make a good couple".

Sex confession

Jack left viewers and his fellow celebs on Don't Rock the Boat stunned when he admitted a cheeky sex confession on the show.

While rowing across the length of Great Britain. Jack's team began playing a game of Never Have I Ever.

The cheeky game saw each member of the team take it in turns to think of a question.

Ex-Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon said: "Never have I ever had sex in the sea."

Jack was quick to shout: "I've had sex in the sea."

His team members were shocked and asked if the experience was "salty" to which Jack just laughed it off.

Essex bombshell

Jack was recently linked with TOWIE beauty Chloe Brockett.

The pair were first linked in 2019 shortly after Jack from Dani.

They have been on/off for a number of years since then and the beauty has hinted numerous times that the pair are an item on social media without ever admitting it.

Chloe, 20, was reportedly banned from filming the ITVBe show last month after breaking Covid-19 rules to visit Jack's house.

The influencer hinted their relationship was back on after sharing a snap of flowers on her Instagram Story that were sent by him.

She also confirmed that she was not "seeing or dating anyone" at the moment.
