J-Hope of BTS Showed He Is a Fan of Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow released his new album Come Home the Kids Miss You on May 6, and it turns out J-Hope from BTS is a fan. After Harlow released Come Home the Kids Miss You, J-Hope shared part of the music video for Harlow’s song “First Class” on his Instagram story.

Harlow released Come Home the Kids Miss You on May 6, along with a music video for his single “First Class.” The single was originally released on April 8, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“First Class” interpolates Fergie’s hit “Glamorous,” and the song’s chorus went viral before the song was released. The “First Class” music video features Brazilian singer Anitta.

On May 8, J-Hope shared a snippet of the “First Class” music video on his Instagram story. The clip that the BTS rapper shared showed Anitta riding a motorcycle as the song’s famous chorus plays.

Come Home the Kids Miss You is Harlow’s second studio album and his first album since 2020. So far, Come Home the Kids Miss You has two singles, “First Class” and “Nail Tech.” The album also features Drake, Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, and Pharrell Williams.

Upon its release, Come Home the Kids Miss You debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Billboard, “The album earned 113,000 equivalent album units, of which SEA units comprise 103,000 (equaling 137.05 million on-demand official streams for set’s songs), album sales comprise 8,000 and TEA units comprise 2,000.”

While Come Home the Kids Miss You is Harlow’s highest-charting album in his career, the album only received mixed reviews from critics.

BTS will release a new album in June

Harlow is not the only artist releasing new music. On June 10, BTS will release an anthology album called Proof. The album will feature an extensive tracklist made up of three CDs.

The first CD for Proof will mainly be compiled of BTS’ hit songs from their discography and the anthology album’s lead single, “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).”

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook selected the songs on the album’s second CD, which is comprised of solo songs, sub-unit tracks, and a new song called “Run BTS.” The final CD for Proof will include a new song called “For Youth,” unreleased tracks, and demo versions of BTS songs.

According to a press release about the album, “The anthology album Proof celebrates the nine years of BTS’ journey since their debut, and opens a new chapter upon their 10th year as artists. The new album will include various tracks that presents BTS’ thoughts on their past, present and future including three new tracks.”
