JLS star JB Gill breaks silence after horror 3am attack on his £1.5m farmhouse

JLS singer JB Gill has broken his silence after robbers raided his £1.5m family home in the middle of the night.

Four robbers ambushed JB's Kent-based farmhouse at 3am back in November 2020.

The 35-year-old pop star was sprayed in the face by the thugs during the attack, and he was rushed to hospital afterwards to be treated for his injuries.

His wife Chloe, 33, was threatened with a knife during the nightmare ordeal, whilst their children Ace, seven, and Chiari, three, were at the home.

The family were said to be "extremely shaken" by the incident at the time.

JB has now said that him and Chloe are "taking each day as it comes", and that they want to protect their children.

He told MailOnline: "We are taking each day as it comes! We just really want to protect our children!

“We've not spoken about it much in public on purpose. But, we are taking each day as it comes.

"We just really want to protect our children. Our family is very important to us and it underpins everything that we do."

The family has strengthened security at their remote home, and the National Crime Agency are investigating the incident.

Jonathan Benjamin Gill, known as JB, praised his wife Chloe for motivating him during his down days.

He said: "Everyone has days where they don't feel as motivated as usual.

"Generally I'm very motivated and my wife is very motivating. We see each other as a partnership.

“When she's down it's my role to step in and gear her up, and vice versa. Chloe and I are incredible ambitious.

"Every year we do a vision board of things we want to achieve. Last year we pretty much achieved everything on our board."

He added that everyone should have dreams, and that you're "never too old" to dream.

JB married backing dancer Chloe in 2014 after the pair began dating in 2008.

The singer shot to fame as a member of JLS in 2008 – when his four-piece boyband came runners up on The X Factor.

The band split in 2013 before reuniting in February 2020 and announcing a tour which was delayed until June 2021 due to the Covid pandemic.
