Kerry Katona has revealed to fans that her 14-year-old son Max is named after a notorious sex offender.
The 42-year-old reality star, who is no stranger to controversy, shares Max, her only son, with her second hubby Mark Croft.
However, Kerry has since given an insight into who the person was that inspired his name – as she issued an apology to Molly-Mae Hague for slamming her baby's name.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday (February 9) Kerry firstly apologised to Molly-Mae for her comments about her baby girl Bambi’s name.
She said: "Yeah it's really played on my mind this has, I personally haven't seen any backlash from what I said, but when I saw it in my column I thought bloody hell Kerry! That sounds a bit harsh!
"I was trying to be a comedian and sometimes when you mix the two it doesn't come across very well.
Kerry, who is a mum to five, went on to say that Bambi Fury is a “great name.”
“Since I said it, it's really, really, really played on my mind. I would never want to bring anybody down,” she admitted.
"I would never want to bully anybody or hurt anybody. I'm not that kind of person in the slightest. Sometimes I'll say something that I think is funny and it actually isn't.”
The TV star then revealed that her son Max is actually named after her former publicist, Max Clifford.
"What can I say… my son is named after bloody Max Clifford! Do you know what I mean?"
Clifford was Kerry’s PR representative at the time of Max’s birth.
In a statement at the time, he said: "Mum and baby are doing really well. It was a natural birth and the family are really happy.
“Of course, I am very proud that Max was named after me.
"Everyone knows how I feel about Kerry. I think the world of her."

In 2012, Clifford was given an eight-year-sentence for historical sex offences.
The disgraced PR was jailed for abusing four girls aged between 15 and 19 between 1997 and 1985.
He ultimately died in 2017 after suffering a heart attack at HM Prison Littlehey in Cambridgeshire.
