The new visuals, which arrived on Friday, June 2, shows the ‘Big Energy’ raptress and her collaborator taking over a department store before partying up with friends inside the building.

AceShowbiz -Latto (Mulatto) and Cardi B‘s collaboration is finally out. On Friday, June 2, the “Big Energy” raptress unleashed “Put It on Da Floor” ft. the “WAP” hitmaker as well as its official music video.

The new visuals shows Latto and Cardi taking over a department store. The two femcees party up inside the building, drinking while making it rain as well as dancing with a group of friends.

“Rip me out the plastic, I been actin’ brand new/ B***hes actin’ like they runnin’ s**t, they really ran through,” the 24-year-old raps in the first verse. “I’ll spend that five hundred ‘fore I ever trap you/ They thought I was gon’ fall off/ I hate to bring you bad news.”

Cardi joins in by bragging, “Got so many chains on, I can’t even see my throat/ These hoes don’t do enough that’s why I always do the most.” She continues, “Broke n***as give the d**k, rich n***as sponsor goals/ Only thing a n***a get from me for free is free the bros.”

Latto announced her collaboration with Cardi on May 31. At that time, she shared on Instagram and Twitter a video of herself telling viewers, “I put it on the floor, and, now, I’m ’bout to put it on the floor again. Remix this Friday!”

Latto later pulled out a plastic bag that wrapped Cardi’s head. While doing that, Latto couldn’t hide her excitement as she screamed loudly. In the caption, she emphasized, “Put it on da floor AGAIN!! FRIDAY!! @iamcardib (Pre-save link in bio).”

“Put It on Da Floor” serves as Latto and Cardi’s first official collaboration. There has always been a mutual respect between the pair, with the “Lottery” raptress citing an old Cardi performance as the sole inspiration behind her own shows.

“I did Rolling Loud Miami in 2018ish…I was one of the openers,” the “Big Energy” spitter said in a 2022 interview with Audacy. “It was 3 P.M. hot as hell and I waited all the way to the end for Cardi B to perform and I stuck around in the hot sun and I was like ‘nah, I gotta see Cardi perform,’ and I just seen her like put on a show. Like, it was actual entertainment. Dancers, choreography.”
