Leigh-Anne Pinnock floors fans as she teases solo music amid Little Mix break

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has sent fans into a frenzy after teasing her upcoming solo music during a break from girlband Little Mix.

The singer – alongside Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – decided to take a break from the band to focus on their individual projects.

Last year, the group confirmed: "We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.

"It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects."

Just months after wrapping up on their farewell tour, Leigh-Anne has been busier than ever as she prepares to make her solo debut.

The 30-year-old star teased her return to music with a cryptic message on Twitter.

Alongside a microphone emoji, she penned: "Is this thing on?"

It didn't take long for fans to go wild over the post as they shared their excitement ahead of Leigh-Anne's solo venture.

However, it appears her music won't be ready for some time.

Later on, Leigh-Anne tweeted: "I'm 100 per cent not rushing anything! It has to be perfect, very excited though."

Responding to a fan from Brazil, she also said: "My god I miss you all so much! I'm getting my butt there as soon as I can! Don't you worry."

It isn't the first time Leigh-Anne has teased her return to the music industry.

Last month, the musician sent fans wild after sharing a snap of herself in the recording studio. She wrote alongside her post: "Mama hard at work."

Her bandmate Perrie rushed to the comments section to show her support, saying: "I can’t wait. I can’t wait. I can’t wait!"

It is believed Leigh-Anne has signed a huge deal with Warner Records – but this has not been verified by the star.

A source told The Sun: "A number of labels were keen to bag Leigh-Anne but Warner seemed the best fit.

"She’s already been in the studio working on tracks for months.

"Leigh-Anne unequivocally loves Little Mix and always will, but the truth is she’s been ready to branch out on her own for some time."

Meanwhile, it comes after Leigh-Anne recently visited Jamaica with her fiancé Andre Gray.

The happy couple were spotted living their best lives on the Caribbean Island last month, as they celebrated their sixth anniversary together in the sunshine.

The pair have been engaged for two years after the QPR striker popped the question during the peak of the national lockdown.

They also welcomed twin babies in August 2021.
