Louise Thompson has taken to social media to update fans from hospital.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, posted a snap wearing a pink medical gown in view on her 1.4million Instagram followers on Thursday (July 14).

She also confirmed that she is now able to move around following her hospital dash earlier this week.

The new mum, who welcomed baby boy Leo in December last year, penned to fans: "As you can imagine I’m a weee bit bored so might finally get around to sharing some links for baby bits that we found invaluable with sweet baby Leo. who I miss like mad."

Louise went on to share three more posts showing baby gadgets that she recommended for parents, and another post about her philosophy on life now she's a mother

She said: "The older I get the more I want to prioritise playfulness. Life is so serious. We all need a bit more silliness in our lives."

It comes after her boyfriend Ryan Libbey shared photos of son Leo playing with a toy.

The 31-year-old dad said: "We’re keeping busy til mummy comes home from hospital."

He also shared a photo from his bath tub, and penned over the top: "Baby is down, so I'm taking 10 to soak in the tub.

"Weirdly, Home Alone is on TV so I'm watching that. Anything to lift spirits I guess."

Louise continues to suffer health problems seven months on from the traumatic birth of their son.

The TV personality was treated in hospital two weeks ago after doctors noted "alarming blood test results" but was released shortly after.

Her company, sportswear brand Pocket Sport, confirmed she had now gone back in for treatment in a post on her Instagram stories.

They said: "Hey everyone, Team Pocket here. Louise is unfortunately back in hospital for a little while and is therefore taking a break from social media.

Sam Thompson's sister Louise was diagnosed with PTSD after suffering complications while giving birth to little boy.

She later revealed that Leo had been treated in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and she had been treated in the adult ICU after the birth.
