Love Island Thom Powell vows to expose fake influencers in Instagram rant

Love Island star Thomas Powell has sent a warning to all reality TV stars after vowing to exposé fake influencers in a new video series.

The Welsh lad, who enter the Love Island villa in 2016 as part of series two, posted a short clip on his official Instagram page on Tuesday morning in which he promised to tell all in the near future.

Keen to have a clear conscience, Tom kicked things off by admitting to his online lies.

The star said: "I have done paid posts in the past for products I do not believe in or not necessarily used.

"Years ago I took the teeth whitening, I promoted the teeth whitening.

"It might of worked but I also used an app to whiten my teeth – Facetune, fill white. Done."

He added: "I have also done paid posts with clothes but I have worn a t-shirt I don't necessarily like and posted, because I got paid to. Money makes the world go round.

"Years ago I posted about trading when I never had actually traded… I had never traded in my life."

Tom continued: "That is me calling myself out on bull**** before I call out others on bulls***.

"I thought it is best to be out in the open before it all comes back to bite me in the ass.

"This is the first video, plenty more to come. More arguments."

He captioned the clip: "Tom’s tantrums volume 1. My confession."

Replying to the post, fellow islander Rykard Jenkins joked: "Oh gosh you better not try expose me or I’ll expose you so bad."

Tom quickly replied: "@rykardjenkins you on my hit list.

"Nah joke… best person I met on tv [heart] always my boy."

It's not yet known who Thom plan to let rip about first but over the year's various celebs have been caught up in promoting scandals.

During a TV sting for BBC Three, Lauren agreed on camera to promote a weight loss drink Cyanora that she was told had hydrogen cyanide in it.

Hydrogen cyanide is an extremely poisonous illegal agent used in concentration camps.

The product was fake but Lauren believed it was real.

After being busted, Lauren told The Sun Online: “I was asked to read a script which I did to screen test me for the job. This script was given to me at that precise moment.

"No deals were signed and it was an audition. As with any audition you people please and say what they want to hear.

"They asked me would I promote the drink without using it. In the heat of the moment I said yes and also said I hadn’t tried Skinny Coffee in the hope of getting the job.

"Of course I would never promote anything that contains poison and proper checks would have been made before any promotion."
