Love Island’s Georgia Steel says producers urged her to wear tiny thong in villa

Love Island's Georgia Steel has revealed that producers urged her to wear a thong bikini while in the villa.

The reality TV beauty, 24, starred in series four of the ITV dating show and chatted exclusively about her time on the show to Daily Star during a Facebook Live chat.

After a recent story hit the headlines regarding twins Jess and Eve Gale from the winter version of the show – who were banned by bosses for wearing thong bikinis – we asked Georgia if this happened to her.

Georgia laughed: "Oh no, they liked it when I wore a thong bikini.

"I never got told off for my clothes ever. The only time they asked me to change was when I was wearing a patterned dress as it made the camera go a bit funny.

"Oh no, they were going 'Georgia get that thong bikini on girl', they wanted me to wear it.

"But knowing the twins, it probably was very small."

When asked what the strictest rules were while in the villa, Georgia revealed that it was regarding the Islanders' nighttime.

She explained: "When the lights went out you had to go to bed even when you weren't tired. Even when there was so much drama in the day and you couldn't sleep.

"But you can't go walking around, and I get it from a production point of view. you're their responsibility while you're in there but when lights are out its bedtime it's a bit like being a child again.

"It's like 'lunchtime, now, eat your dinner, now'.

"I get it they've got 15 people to look at and look after and I totally get it."

Georgia has also been compared to Danica from the new series and we wondered what her thoughts were on this comparison.

She said: "Oh really? I don't see it but that's the first time I've heard of it. I don't see that to be honest.

"I don't want to sound big-headed here but normally I can see that a version of so and so but I've never looked at a character on there and saw any similarities with me. Maybe it's the accent."
