Love Island’s Liberty and Kaz warn against villa pals ‘digging for gossip’

Love Island stars Liberty Poole and Kaz Kamwi have warned the new batch of Islanders to stay away from villa pals 'digging for gossip'.

The besties, who are 22 and 27 respectively, both appeared in the 2021 series of the hit ITV2 dating show.

They have since teamed up with Just Eat to launch a Wing Women Hotline, which aims to aid Brits with the advice they need to navigate the forthcoming summer of love.

Dishing out advice for the singletons who will soon appear on Love Island at the start of their own summer of love, Liberty and Kaz have urged them to trust their guts when it comes to those all-important villa friendships.

They both said: "If you're fishing too deep for information – they're probably trying to get the [hot gossip], rather than help you."

The pair also revealed the importance of friendship, as well as romance, inside the Love Island villa.

Liberty said: "We've all been in situations where we doubt ourselves or simply don't know what to do.

"That's why everyone needs a wing woman who's got your back and wants the best for you.

"I learnt so much about myself in the villa and I’m proud of how I handled things.

"I hope my experience can help others in similar situations."

Kaz added: "Every relationship has issues at one point or another, and having a best friend to turn to is so important.

"I'm happy to be one of Just Eat's Wing Women alongside my bestie Lib, to answer all relationship and friendship dilemmas, and hopefully help get relationships back on track."

Although Liberty and Kaz both found love in their villa, their friendship outlasted their respective Love Island romances.

While Liberty broke up with her villa beau Jake Cornish before exiting the villa early, Kaz and her former boyfriend Tyler Cruickshank called it quits in December after four months of dating.

Love Island returns at 9pm on Monday, June 6 on ITV2.
