Mick Norcross smiles with son Kirk in haunting photo just weeks before death

Former TOWIE star Mick Norcross appeared in haunting final snap which saw him next to his eldest son Kirk with a beaming smile just three weeks prior to his death.

The reality star, who shot to fame as the Sugar Hut owner on the hit ITV2 show, was found dead at his home in Bulphan, Essex, by emergency services on Thursday afternoon.

Essex Police told the Daily Star: "We were called to an address in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 3.15pm on Thursday 21 January.

"Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead.

"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

In the snap taken on January 4, son Kirk, 32, took to Facebook to share an adorable smiling selfie with his dad, in what appeared to be his home.

Uploading the image to Facebook, he wrote: "Me and the big man", including a red heart emoji.

Mick leaves behind sons, Kirk, Daniel, Mason and daughter Hollie. He is also a grandfather to three children.

Fans were left heartbroken as they saw Mick had taken to Twitter just hours before he had been discovered to pen one heartbreaking tweet.

The nightclub owner wrote: "At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough."

The news of Mick's passing has sparked devastation from his fans and many of his former co-stars, with a number of the cast members taking to social media to share emotional tributes.

Gemma Collins was quick to share her devastation and sympathies, she said: "ALWAYS A GENTLEMAN.

"Absolutely shocked and saddened by the news. My thoughts and prayers are going out to Kirk family and friends absolutely tragic #ripmicknorcross"

Mario Falcone, who was left feeling suicidal after his split with Lucy Mecklenburgh found it "hard to accept" after Mick had been there for him during his depression.

Sharing a photo of Mick on his Instagram, Mario wrote: "This one is very hard to accept. I had so much respect and admiration for this man.

"I had the honour of filming with him a lot on TOWIE and also to be good friends away from the show.

"When I went through my battle with depression and suicide you were the only one from the whole show that reached out and cared about me."

Mario continued: "You were someone I looked up to and held in the highest regard. The thought of you going through the same pain and emotional darkness I did breaks my heart. You will be sorely missed by so many!"
