Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has spoken of her struggles as she adjusts to life following her split from husband Clive, saying that "life's not easy".

The mum-of-nine announced last June that she and husband Clive were splitting up after 22 years of marriage, leaving fans devastated for the family.

The 48-year-old shepherdess has spoken out about the challenges she is faced with as her family grows up on-screen, amid her marriage split.

Speaking to The Mirror, Amanda revealed that it's "never easy" watching her family grow up on-screen, and even spoke of how she has had to "adapt to change".

Although Amanda added that she enjoys being a part of her kids' journeys as they grow up.

She went on: "Raven is away at university doing a Masters now, Reuben’s working independently and loving it, Miles has left school and is working at home. It brings in new people and keeps you on your toes. I hope it keeps me young."

Amanda and Clive share nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine and Nancy, with them all aged from 21 to five.

Just two months ago in November, it was announced that Channel 5 would be dropping the family's original show following the marriage split.

But this didn't mark the end for the family, because while announcing Our Yorkshire Farm would be coming to an end, they announced the start of Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive.

The father and son duo can be seen in the series embarking on an exciting digging business venture together.

Although Clive and Reuben have had their own series, it isn't all over for Amanda after she was made an offer by a rival network.

The shepherdess has reportedly been offered her own show, where viewers will watch on as Amanda visits other farms and chats with locals.
