Peter Andre fans in disbelief as they discover FKA Twigs was his backup dancer

Peter Andre fans were left in shock as they discovered a huge pop star was once his backup dancer.

A Twitter meme account Love of Huns revealed the baffling news by posting throwback snaps of Peter, now 48, and his back up dancers.

In one photos, Peter's 16-year-old son Junior can be seen posing with the singer before she was famous.

The Mysterious Girl star can be seen posing with his daughter Princess, now 14, and four dancers in matching costumes.

Posing next to Peter wearing black tights, a silver sequin top and bright red lipstick is none other than British star FKA Twigs.

Sharing the snaps on social media, Love of Huns wrote: "Obsessed with FKA twigs previously being Peter Andre’s backup dancer and having piccies taken with Junior and Princess."

Fans were just as confused and shared their thoughts in the comments.

One wrote: "Screaming."

Another said: "This has broken my brain honestly."

A third added: "sorry WHAT."

However, Peter is not the only star FKA has backup danced for.

She has also appeared in singer Jessie J's music video Do It Like a Dude.

The 27-year-old can be seen on Jessie's right side dancing as she grins down the lens in the video.

Since leaving the backup dancing days to other stars, FKA Twigs went on to become a Grammy nominated artist.

FKA – who's real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – dated Twilight actor Robin Pattison for two years before they broke up in 2017.

She previously opened up about the abuse she faced when entering the spotlight as Pattison's girlfriend.

She told Complex magazine at the time: "It is pretty horrible.

"But ultimately, I'm in an amazing relationship. So it doesn't matter."
