Seth Rogen addresses claims Emma Watson stormed off This Is The End set

Seth Rogen has cleared up claims about Emma Watson after rumours circulated that she "stormed off the set" of his 2013 film This Is The End.

The actor, writer and producer, 38, took to his official Twitter account to clear everything up to his 9.2million followers.

It comes after he gave an interview to GQ last week where he said the Harry Potter actress walked off the set following a scene involving cannibalism – eating other humans.

Emma, 30, objected to the scene according to Seth but after his quotes emerged in the interview the story blew up and he says the "perception" around it is wrong about the star.

Tweeting to his millions, Seth wrote how there are "no hard feelings" between him and Emma.

He said: "Emma Watson did not 'storm off the set' and it's sh***y that the perception is that she did.

"The scene was not what was originally scripted, it was getting improvised, changed drastically and was not what she agreed to.

"The narrative that she was in some way uncool or unprofessional is complete bulls**t. I for sure should have communicated better and because I didn't, she was put in an uncomfortable position."

Seth also praised Emma for keeping to her filming boundaries and for sharing her objections with him.

He added: "We agreed on her not being in the scene together. I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with her and would be thrilled to get that opportunity again.

"I am very sorry and disappointed it happened, and I wish I had done more to prevent it."

Seth told GQ that Emma was "probably right" about the scene and that it was "probably funnier the way we ended up doing it".

The scene in question involved fellow actor Danny McBride who is playing a cannibal and Magic Mike's Channing Tatum also features in it as a prisoner on a lease wearing a skimpy leather thong.

Seth co-directed This Is The End alongside Evan Goldberg.

The film is about actor James Franco (who plays himself) is throwing a party with a slew of celebrity pals.
