Sheridan Smith spotted wearing her engagement ring after split from fiancé

Sheridan Smith has been seen wearing her engagement ring after splitting from her fiancé.

The 40-year-old announced that she had split from Jamie Horn, 31 at the start of the month.

The pair are parents to son Billy, who they welcomed in May 2020.

However, the actress was spotted still sporting the engagement ring, which is thought to be worth £10,000, on her Instagram Stories.

On Wednesday evening she took to her Instagram to tell fans that she was looking forward to watching Love Island.

The ring was obvious on her left hand due to the star having an intricate tattoo on the back of her hand.]

She told fans: "Waiting for Love Island… Don't judge me!" as she smiled and stuck her tongue out in the footage.

Sheridan and Jamie gave a statement to The Sun, to announce their separation which read: “It is with great sadness that we have decided to have some time apart.

“We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”

The split came after the couple dated for three years after meeting on Tinder in 2018.

In her documentary Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum, Jamie shared: "On our first date she was so timid and sweet and nervous!

"She came into the boozer, about an hour late, I had about 3 pints!”

Recalling how special their first meeting was, he added: "She walked and looked up at me and gave me this smile across the bar and that was it!"

The blonde bombshell recently showed off a glamorous new hairdo after the split.

The star sported a stylish blonde bob, revealing it while leaving The Printworks in Manchester and was also spotted running through a scene for new ITV drama No Return.

The new ITV drama is penned by acclaimed writer Danny Brocklehurst and follows an “unassuming family” on the holiday from hell.
