Mel B MBE is no stranger when it comes to leaving fans stunned and her outing at the Pride of Manchester Awards was certainly no different.
The Spice Girls superstar, 46, made an appearance at the star-studded event where she handed the Spirit of Manchester award to Professor Erinma Bell MBE.
But away from the red carpet, Melanie caused a stir as onlookers were taken aback by her stunning outfit, with many believing her jumpsuit was an Alexander McQueen number.
Sources revealed to us that Melanie had delayed walking the red carpet after a wardrobe incident which became clearer as the night went on.
Speaking to Daily Star, an insider said: "Melanie was in high spirits throughout the night.
"She delayed walking the red carpet but nobody knew why until later on when she revealed her outfit had split down the back during her journey to the event.
"Mel took it in her stride though and wore a floor-length leopard print coat and channelling Scary Spice – but her outfit left everybody stunned."
Our mole added: "People kept asking her if it was Alexander McQueen after seeing the back held together by a load of safety pins at the back but she shocked everyone when she told them what had happened.
"Nobody could believe that they weren't a part of the design, it looked so natural.
"But while everybody turned their attention to her, she pointed out that the night wasn't about her as she praised Professor Bell for winning the Pride of Manchester Award – she really wanted to highlight just how important this award was for her."
Elsewhere at the event, Melanie even left her celebrity fans stunned as she raced down the red carpet to give her pal Angela Griffin a hug in front of the hoards of paparazzi.
X-Factor sensation Fleur East revealed that she was left dazzled by the For Once In My Life songstress and even hinted at a potential collaboration.
She told us: "100 per cent, I'm there, it's not even a question," before admitting she would never consider replacing a member of the group.
Fleur explained: "I could never do that but maybe a duet with them, that would be fun.
"To do a collaboration with them on stage."
But it appears her friendship with the star still hasn't sunk in, with the Sax singer adding: "Bumping into Mel B, being on talking terms with Scary Spice, I was obsessed with the Spice Girls.
"It really hit home when she invited me to see the Spice Girls as her guest and I went backstage, I mean, what is life? Everyday I'm so grateful for what I get to do, you never know how long something is going to last."
