Taylor Swift announces release for 1989 Taylor's Version
Taylor Swift fans knew it was coming, but now the wait is finally over.
The American singer announced on her social media accounts today where she confirmed 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is a matter of weeks away.
Just like Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version) and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), the Love Story singer has revealed she has re-recorded every track from her 2014 album 1989.
This time, however, she’s dropping the classic album with five bonus songs. And it’s on its way to store shelves and streaming services very soon.
And, even more exciting: preorders for the new album reissue are open right now. You can get yours right here.

Taylor wrote on her social media accounts: “The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out 27 October.”
She added: “To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVOURITE re-record I’ve ever done because the five From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”
As she mentioned, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is coming out on October 27, 2023, the same date the original version of the record was released back in 2014.

The album includes some of her best-known songs including Blank Space, Shake It Off and Bad Blood.
Crucially, however, the five vault tracks are expected to introduce new collaborations, much like her previous re-recorded songs did.
Fans have begun speculating that Taylor has recruited Harry Styles onto the project – perhaps even to perform in the song Style, a track written about the former One Direction singer.
Taylor is still on her Eras World Tour, and you can get tickets to it right here.
