Hollywood actor Earl Boen – who is best known for his recurring role in Terminator – has died at the age of 81, according to reports.
According to TMZ, a family member alerted the publication that the veteran actor passed away on Thursday (January 5) in the heart of Hawaii.
Boen's first wife, Carole, died in 2001, and he is now survived by his second wife Cathy, his daughter Ruby and his grandchildren Kimmy Abaricia and Kimo Harbin.
The retired actor cemented his name in the Hall of fame for playing the role of Dr. Peter Silberman in the Terminator franchise.
He is the only actor beside Arnold Schwarzenegger to appear in each of the first three Terminator films: The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
The star may be best known for his role as the doctor in the science fiction movie franchise, but the established actor also boasts a lengthy movie career.
In addition to his role as the criminal psychologist, he also appeared in a number of other films in the 1980s including Battle Beyond the Stars, The Man with Two Brains and Alien Nation.
He also appeared in Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult in 1994 and Nutty Professor II: The Klumps in 2000.
The New York-born star announced he was retiring from screen acting back in 2003 but remained active with his voiceover roles in film, TV as well as video games.
He voiced popular character such as Mr. Bleakman in Clifford the Big Red Dog, Police Chief Kanifky in Bonkers, the Narrator in World of Warcraft, Señor Senior, Senior in Kim Possible, and Captain LeChuck in the Monkey Island series.
